I think you are mistaken. You can have an easy do that is soft and sophisticated, whether you are black or white. You don't need 2 hours a day for any do these days.
Condi's hair gives her a "brittle look" that I don't like,,I think she is smart but warm and sweet and her hair doesn't convey that.

EXACTLY!!! Among the kazillion reasons to admire this history-making woman, let's talk about looking good -- I mean photog-ready, Page One good -- day after day after DAY. And, as you say, it ain't easy hairwise (esp. for the reasons you list), much less clotheswise. Dudes slip on a suit, and they're done.
She is extremely smart (and smart-looking), in so very many many ways.
