Repeating the truth doesn't force closed minds to even think much about it, much less to think about it logically.
The 3-4 factors or so which MAY HAVE SLIGHTLY, SORTA, SOMEWHAT FROM A GLANCING VIEW been fitting to Biblical prophecies occasionally through the ages
do NOT come remotely close to the THOUSANDS of data points from 1948 with Israel becoming a nation again--which have been increasingly and with increasing abundance true regarding Biblical prophecies.
But, hey, stay focused on the tired old mantra. Sounds like a pretty reliable way to miss out, to me.
It was a constant mantra that the rapture was going to happen "very soon". All kinds of "signs" were there, so anyone who didn't see it just had a "closed mind". Sound familiar? The Soviet Union wase going to invade Israel...all the planets were going to align...yada, yada, yada. If I had a nickel for every time I have heard someone say "this is it!" I could hire Bill Gates to shine my shoes.
No, I'm not the one with a closed mind. I'm the one trying to take an objective look at the entire situation. OF COURSE in hindsight you can sit here today and explain why every other previous generation has been wrong about their end-of-the-world predictions and scripture interpretation. And in 5, 10, 20 years someone else will come along and explain why YOU were wrong, but how THEY are right and if anyone doesn't see it as they do, well, then they just have a closed mind, can't think logically, blah, blah, blah.
And just what am I about it to "miss out" on as you suggest?
