He lost me at "As a journalist," says Jennings...
I'm sure he is many things, but journalist is not one of them, IMHO.

He did NOT get the boot.
There was a committee that met and reviewed the stuff. They fussed a bit about the lack of conformity to the party line but affirmed his freedom to express his interest and opinions. They also affirmed his quality performance in his role at the university.

contact between an advanced civilization and a far more primitive one has usually or always, in human history, been devastating for the primitive cultureM\
I read this book where the aliens thought they were coming to conquer 11th Century earth technology, but actually landed in the middle of WWII, which wasn't so cool for them. I think we are pretty darned dangerous.

"After almost 150 interviews with scientists, investigators and with many of those who claim to have witnessed unidentified flying objects, there are important questions that have not been completely answered and a great deal not fully explained." Like what really hit FL800???

I might believe in ufo's before I would believe in demons. You can look Hillary in the face and not believe that there are demons who are active in this world?

Project Blue Book ended in 1969, after an "independent commission" concluded that there was no scientific value to UFO's.
Now this is bad reporting. What was the commission? Was it independent scientists, a Congressional Committee, or what?

When Fox does stuff like this at least they don't use Brit Hume to anchor it.
This is probably going to be ABC News top rated show in years. Millions are going to see it and millions are going to believe it.

We do what we can with our available capacities in time, energy etc.
But your assumptions about the variables and facts related thereto may be a LOT less robust or accurate than you think.

Of curse there are a few reported incidents of UFO's above US missile silos and batteries.
And the missiles just shut off. Period. Totally inert.

Absolutely not true. There have been metal artifacts found in coal mines, in the coal itself.
There is quite a bit uf unexplained archeology.

We may be, but there's no way of knowing. The bottom line is not to presume anything about the aliens, if they exist, but to be prepared. Denial doesn't help.
To: djf
I notice that we don't have a ot of top tier advertisers on this show. We have had the spinning storage system and now the "grip and flip."
To: djf
well, the apprentice calls, will record the rest of this.

California Patriot said: "...The attempts to explain these sightings in some other manner are, generally, almost laughably weak..."
One of the most amusing explanations has been that the sightings could be attributed to "swamp gas."
