Some days I fear that I may click on ONE MORE of these threads, read one more of these stories, and my head may explode. God help us all.

I know. I am finally starting to believe that the Good Lord has had it with us.

Someone should ask these idiots if they would be willing to sign leagal papers stating that if they ever need a blood transfusion that the RED CROSS can REFUSE giving blood to them

Since my car insurance company charges extra premiums for only allowing "genuine manufacturer replacement parts", should I now expect that my health insurance premiums may go up to ensure only heterosexual blood will be used during transfusions where I am the recipient?

Yes it is the honor system. I can no longer give blood because I have worked in Sub Sahara Africa. That is the rule along with many other rules, with no exceptions.

Blood should be a gift of life, not a hidden killer! My brother died of Hep B. He did not sleep with men nor shoot drugs. It was either sex or bad iv products back in the early 60s before they had the test for Hep B antibodies.

To put it bluntly, if given the choice of taking a unit of blood from a person with a known high risk of HIV lifestyle or your husband or wife, what is your choice for the unit of blood you run into your vein or your child's vein.

That was not a hard question, was it?

Well, I mean if the Red Cross can't help spread those super virilant strains of HIV out into the innocent general public, just what are they good for anyways?

Homosexuality continually confirms itself to be nothing more than a death cult.

It's not enough that these idiots want to spread HIV-AIDS to each other, they want to spread it to the rest of us, as well! Level the playing field, so to speak. Just another part of the homosexual agenda, or am I being paranoid?

Why doesn't New Hampshire merely mandate ALL it's citizenry be injected directly with the AIDS virus?

That way the the tainted blood wouldn't be such a bother.

An excerpt from "New AIDs Strain? Of Course! (Price Of Gay PC Is Death)"

"Gay activists are already protesting the announcement of the appearance of a new and deadly strain of the AIDS virus. In reporting the story, the The New York Times wondered aloud about the protests (e.g., who could protest a scientific announcement?) but then went on to justify it: announcing the new strain apparently might call attention to the continued reckless behavior of the gay community, and its continued intimidation of public health officials as in this protest. Of course the Times didn't quite put it this way, but that was its meaning.

This protest is a deadly analogue to the hysteria at Harvard where feminist ideologues have successfully brought the Harvard presidency to its knees and made it impossible to conduct a serious discussion about women's opportunities in science. Unfortunately, the intimdations by gay activists of public health officials have led to something more serious than the dumbing down of a once great intellectual institution like Harvard. The mindless political attacks by the gay left on any public health official uttering the truth has led directly to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of gay males in the 25 years of the epidemic..."

An excerpt from "HIV harbinger"

"This story is the homosexual lobby's worst nightmare. When it agitates for marriage, adoption and other extraordinary rights, it finds homosexuals who have been in committed relationships for long periods to speak to legislators, judges or journalists. But as extensive sociological research has shown, the New York City case is more typical of the promiscuous lifestyle of homosexuals...

As much as homosexual agitators contend HIV threatens everyone, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says 82 percent of America's 920,000 AIDS cases in 2003 began with homosexual sex, the sharing of drug needles or both. Heterosexual contact accounted for less than 15 percent, but the rate among monogamous couples and abstinent singles was 0 percent. These numbers illustrate best why the life expectancy of homosexuals is at least 30 years shorter than that of the average heterosexual.

At a time when the cost of health insurance is soaring and millions have lost or are at risk of losing their health coverage, why should taxpayers through Medicaid and insurers through higher premiums have to pay so that more than 200 million people may undergo unnecessary testing when the people most responsible for transmitting HIV won't submit to tests or take precautions to prevent the spread of the disease?

Meanwhile, the mainstream news media remains silent. They are just as responsible and should be held accountable!

The Vampires want to infect the blood supply. The "givers" can't replicate their serotoxin fast enough by barebacking so they're pulling this "rights" crap.

Let this individual know how you feel about forcing the Red Cross to allow sexually active gay men to donate blood.

From the UNH on-line directory:

This crap really pisses me off to no end.

BUMP I want to take time reading this article. From the little I gathered by just the posts, I had to walk away.
I will go and take my blood pressure pill and be back. That is if I don't get physically sick before.

What in GOD'S name is happening to GOD'S once beautiful world????

Christiansen, who is gay, said he began working on the resolution during winter break after friends questioned why gay men are prohibited from giving blood.

Another thing is that I'm pretty sure that most gay men agree with guidelines on donating blood and probably wish that people like Christiansen would just shut the hell up and not draw unwanted attention to the issue thus making everyone in the gay community look unreasonable.

Believe it or not, most gays do not want to get married, adopt children or donate blood. Most of them want to be left the hell alone to practice sodomy as they wish. The small but vocal minority who are screaming about these things are the albatross around their necks!

Gays like Christiansen are doing a disservice to the gay community (a community I am *NOT* a part of just for the record).

"To allow them to donate would be "Murder due to Political Correctness."

You are soooooo right! And every time I read one of these articles, I just want to scream!!!! Perhaps the Republicans should start a campaign addressing the life saving efforts of the right!! We are doing these lefties and gays NO good by allowing this crap to continue! If this goes any further, I fear for all of us, just imagine an entire country infected by these PC policies! We would look like Somalia. Stop the insanity!!

BTW If someone has gotten a tattoo in the past year, they cannot donate either.

American servicemen who were stationed in Europe in the 1990s are also banned from giving blood. Is that discrimination as well?

Yup. And my son, who was 4yo when we left, can't give blood either. He's now 17.
