Needless to say, Ted Rall is an automatic Barf Alert. He blathers on a while about how bloggers are dominated by the "radical" right, and should not be permitted, but cannot bring himself to advocate limits on speech.

Exactly where MSM used to be and would like to be again. Yhe guy goes out of his way to trash bloggers because the only way to keep from getting exposed by them is to substantiate your story. I can see where this would prove to be a handicap for the MSM...

Beware the backlash. As soon as bloggers make a big ugly blunder (and you know it's coming), the MSM will be all over it for a month in an attempt to discredit the entire medium. You thought the Howard Dean YEEEEAAAAGGGGH! got a lot of play... You ain't seen nuthin' yet!

I link Rall cartoon on my Yahoo page just so I never forget what POS he represents.

He never fails to piss me off.

He said people made viscious attacks against him and his family on this site. But, he never explained when or why or who.

You know, if everybody dropped out of FR when somebody says something vicious and stupid, nobody would last past the first day. It's a largely unmoderated forum, and people can say all sorts of really stupid vicious things here.

They can also say some really bright things here, so it's worth it to stay. I have no doubt people have run down Hannity and even his family here on FR, but so what? People have flamed me, my wife, my kids and my dog at one point or another, but it's just rantin' and ravin' and it don't mean nuthin'.
