I think most telling in this story is the fact that it did not fit neatly into liberal MSM agenda of portraying Americans as evil savages in Iraq because the offender was a homosexual. Had this event occurred between a male soldier and female Iraqi, it would have been blasted all over the news - anyone doubting this need only look how Boston Globe published photos from "porn site" that they "reported" came with allegations that American soldiers were raping Iraqi women - the retraction was hardly noticeable in contrast to the story, so I guess they could proclaim "mission accomplished".
The MSM's propagandism (?) would Goebbels smile approvingly with a "Well done!".
