Clearwater, FL (LifeNews.com) -- A local judge has ruled that the estranged husband of Terri Schiavo cannot starve her to death tomorrow and has set a hearing this week to determine if he should be prevent from doing so while her parents continue their legal battle to save her life.
Michael Schiavo intended to remove Terri's feeding tube on Tuesday afternoon once a Florida appeals court finalizes its decision against Terri's parents Bob and Mary Schindler.
The Schindlers has hoped to convince the court that starving Terri to death would violate her religious liberties. As a Catholic, the Schindlers contend Terri would not want to have her life ended.
The Schindlers are planning to take that fight to the Supreme Court and, while they appeal, they want Michael prevented from ending Terri's life.
On Monday afternoon, Circuit Court Judge George Greer ruled that Michael will have to wait until he can hold a hearing on whether to allow the stay preventing the starvation to continue. Judge Greer set a date for a hearing on Wednesday.
While Terri is not on artificial life support and can breathe on her own, she requires a gastric tube to provide her with food and water. Should that be removed, she will die from a painful 7 to 10-day long starvation death.
George Felos, the euthanasia advocate who is Michael's lead attorney, has instructed him to remove the feeding tube as soon as he is legally authorized.
In addition to their legal fight, the Schindlers have brought in pro-life activist Randall Terry to encourage grassroots support on Terri's behalf.
"If Michael Schiavo has Terri's feeding tube removed, we will respond with an avalanche of activism to save Terri from death by starvation," Terry said Monday afternoon. "Why is Michael determined to starve this woman? Why won't he just give Terri back to her parents?"

40 million babies aborted and some up and jump righteous over this 1.
I mean, she is important to Jesus but this phony religion crowd needs to get over itself.
Step up the emails and calls, and keep praying hard!
If they moved her to Abu Graib or Gitmo, they couldn't do this.
Well, at least Randall Terry didn't kill his wife, so he is able to do something here...
If it were a simple divorce case however, he'd have no crediblity...
I didn't know it was about numbers...does God think only in high multiples?!
Have I told you lately what a great job you are doing? All of you? Without you guys, this would be the law of the land, to starve undesirables to death.
With God's help, we WILL stop this Juggernaut of Selected Death...

Don't you understand? LIFE in general is being viewed as disposable. It doesn't seem to matter if it is a baby or an adult like Terri. People aren't being "phony" at this large issue. You don't even have to be "religious" so see the obvious - taking of a life strictly for convenience = abortion or a more vulnerarble adult unable to speak for herself.

Terri ping! If anyone would like to be added to or removed from my Terri ping list, please let me know by FReepmail!
If Terri were my child, and her husband was allowed to starve her to death, he would have to watch his back because no telling what I would do in my grief stricken state.

You know, I asked you the other day on another thread what issue you want us to focus on. You said that Terri's story was so distracting and even more lame than Michael Jackson. What is it you want us to look at? Why is life and death not an important issue to you?
We believe that Terri has been denied very valuable rehabilitation for which money was awarded a dozen years ago. Yet Michael has forbidden it. He even forbids the most basic of some routine care, like dental cleanings every six months and gynecological exams. There is proof of his neglect (Terri) which is against the law. Why don't you want the law to be enforced here?
You know, as in Live and Let Live?
Of course I understand.
I also understand that everybody already knows this story. If this is so important [to some Freepers] then shut up and pray! Make your alms in secret so that God can reward you openly.
The majority of the folks railing on about this situation have not even spoken to God [as He is] about it. All these vain words. All these many posts. And very little of God's word being spoken over the situation.
Pray His Word and stand in faith. How many threads a day about this one situation. And out of those, how many of the posts are speaking God's Word? Please, get real.
Just too many folks faking the righteous indignation funk while they themselves walk in iniquity. God says obedience is batter than sacrifice.
Joshua 6;13...
As Joshua & Israel camped in front of their next target. Joshua looked up and he saw a Man standing a little ways off from of him with a drawn sword in His hand. Joshua walked up to Him and asked: Are you with us or against us? The Man replied: Neither, I have come as Commander of the Army of the Lord.
I have nothing more to say. Chew on the meat and spit out the bones. Like it or dont like it. I do not care.

I hope he gets it. Will post reply, if any rec'd.
