Judith Anne-
I am not a disrupter. I very much enjoy being exposed to different arguments. You do not have to engage me. But many people here are and were happy to do so.
Women do not go to college to meet husbands nor should they. If that was true, you would see an influx of women applying to the male dominated engineering schools. You would not have women in the teaching profession.
Furthermore, after college graduation students are poor. You need money to settle down. You need to get a job. Usually, people live with their parents until they get on their feet.
College is a place where people from all over the country attend. How are two people from two very far away places going to settle down? Yes, it's possible, but it's difficult.

You are just too young to have enough experience to have any idea what you are talking about. Yet you make huge sweeping pronouncements as though they were the last word, only to change your mind a few threads later, or even on the same thread.
Now, that is either a disruptor, or an incredibly ignorant person who doesn't want to admit ignorance. You can keep doing it, I'll keep watching and laughing.

Women do not go to college to meet husbands nor should they... You are so much like another young lady I know...you cannot defend that sweeping statement. That's because you could never show that every person did something for exactly the same reason, or for only one reason.
