College is an institute for higher learning. What a waste of money if a woman enrolls for the sole purpose of meeting a man. The Purpose of college is to broaden your horizons and expand your mind.
If you happen to meet a husband at college thats wonderful. But it shouldn't be any woman's sole goal.

The Purpose of college is to broaden your horizons and expand your mind. But, it doesn't matter if a WIFE is narrow-minded with no horizons? Most men I know want a wife who is educated, and are proud of that. If your aim is to be a wife, why not go to college to find a husband?

"The Purpose of college..."
Lauralee, I have a number of degrees, and have taught at two colleges and two universities.
There is no single Purpose of college.
And lots of people (of both genders) go to school to find a spouse. So what?
