A closeup of horizontal layers of rock in Ethiopia's Kibish Formation, which yielded the oldest known fossils of the human species, Homo sapiens.
So, how old is that vertical thingy that goes through about 50 layers?

Thats not part of the rock, if you zoom in on the picture it looks like a machete lying against the rock for a scale comparison.

Unmentioned is that this dating means H. sapiens was a contemporary of not only H. neanderthalis, but H. erectus as well. Amazing and important.

It's even more of a shame that the apology won't mean a thing to the people who will be around soon to damn you to hell for posting it. It's even more of a shame that hypocrites like you are here picking fights so you can blame others for picking the fights.

Huh? How am I involved in you being called a hypocrite? Not "I", Sam, "We".
We're both hypocrites.
(although I'm not sure why. but I am sure there's a biblical verse that explains it all.) ;-)
