Word To The Wise: Avoid the "B" word around your luggage in the airport.

a psychiatrist, no less! they bagged a big one.
psychiatrists are at the top of the mental health food chain, being both doctors and mental health experts.
it's psychiatrists that usually do unto others, rather than others doing unto psychiatrists.

I think she was trying to create an issue.
Hopefully they handed her the charred remains of her luggage.

The doctor got what she deserved. Has she been under a rock? Everyone knows better than to make such stupid statements at the airports.
However one part bothers me even more: "Her suitcase, however, got past security and was loaded onto the America West jet. Why? The doctor was held, but the plane with the "possible" bomb aboard flew? Not cool. It should have been found and destroyed before the plane left the ground.

Dr. Esha Khoshnu = stupid, loud-mouthed, hate-America bitch. Got what she deserved; so did her luggage.

"Get "snippy" with an airlines' ticket agent and you may never see your luggage again.
That's the experience of Dr. Esha Khoshnu, a New Jersey psychiatrist traveling to San Diego to attend a conference."
Saturday morning humor ping, share with friends!
Trust me, the story gets better, without the aid of little white pills, straight jackets or butterfly nets.

This guy is a psychiatrist?
This guy needs a psychiatrist - what a fool. I'm sure his colleagues have neatly clipped and circulated this article and his patients will be greatly encouraged.

While changing planes in Phoenix, Khoshnu got testy at a Mesa Airlines ticket counter, reports KGTV news, saying, "If I had a bomb, you wouldn't find it." After making an incredibly stupid comment like that in an airport, she's VERY lucky that having her luggage blown up is the only consequence she faced.

Everyone in this story looks like an idiot:
The shrink--needs one.
The TSA clowns at Phoenix who let her bag get on board, or at least didn't take if off the plane before it departed--gross negligence and incompetence.
The decisionmaker who decided to blow up the bag because they didn't trust the bomb squad--Look, the plane had landed, the passengers were safe. Your bomb squad inspected the bag. Just send it back to Phoenix. :-)

Has there ever been a case where a terrorist got snippy with authorities and mentioned a hypothetical bomb? We are going to go broke chasing red herrings.
