Ladies, I hate to break this to you, but once we've gotten what we're after, we don't need to talk, cuddle, etc. We use these for seduction and foreplay; don't make the mistake of assuming we actually like it.

Perhaps this physiological response is something like what women experience during transition, toward the end of labor to deliver a baby, when they almost instantly fall asleep for 60 or 90 seconds between the most intense labor contractions. For most or many women, they cannnot not sleep during those intervals of rest from the pain.

My husband and I always both fall asleep. Although the 'myth' is that it is the men who fall asleep, I think more often it is probably both.
