I wonder if he has some middle eastern heritage.

Negroponte sounds like a Spanish or Italian name. I think the name would mean black point in Italian, but am not sure.

You're right, I believe. He looks more Spanish than Italian to me, but what would I know. I'm blonde and German!

I believe he is a Greek-American but an Italian type name
(Venetian) The combination has to do with all the folks
who occupied the neighborhood in Byzantium.
