I heard about the 'breaking news' this AM when I got back from my walk. They all said it was a big surprise too--that he was announcing it all of the sudden. They almost acted like they had hurt feelings because they didn't know further ahead--LOL!
He did have a press conference after, and there were surprisingly few stupid questions from the reporters.

Cooking dinner usually tends to keep her quiet, at least for a little while, though it's difficult to do cuz I usually work nights or I'm working until 3 or 4 and can't stand up for the rest of the day.
The press usually seems to have hurt feelings about something President Bush is doing. Remember how upset they got about his trip to Baghdad? Cuz they hadn't been told! What a bunch of dorks.
