Happy, singing slaves treated gently and humanely by their masters. Then, the evil Lincoln came along and ruined this utopia.
The South should have been grateful that the Union army prevented freed slaves from exacting revenge on their masters.

By the way what is the root word of 'slave'. The southern constitution outlawed importing slaves from aferica and had terms set up to end all slavery - on their own. we don't need the help of the sodomist yankees.
