MOST days i agree w/Sean. BUT, imVho, he is WRONG,WRONG, WRONG on "guest workers".

unless you own a small farm, you do NOT know how difficult it is to get US citizens to do farm labor at ANY price.

last year my morther was offering day labor (read UNSKILLED) @ $ 10.oo per hour, + meals/lodging for building/repairing fences, feeding livstock, operating farm machinery,etc.

she had NO takers.

Most farmers in my area don't have much problem finding people to do farm work. There is a seed operation that needs people to de-tassle corn and every year they use students to perform the task and at far less than 10.00/hour. It may be more of a regional issue. What are the other small farms in the area doing?
