Race: to a point these shows are designed to keep the listener coming back for more. The comments you hear about the rule of law and other such catch phrases are largely red meat. They are psychological phrases to increase interest and response.

Remember the phrase Pat Buchanan always used. "When I'm sworn in as President, as soon as I finish the oath, I will turn to the Clinton's and say you have the right to remain silent." I believe it was Tim Russert on the Meet the Press who called Pat on that one and asked what would be the charges. Pat shuffled and squirmed like a six year old who got caught stealing the penny candy from the store and finally said something to the extent of , it's a read meat phrase to instill passion to my audiences and at rally's.

Maybe, but remember:

Pat Buchanan said that ONCE as a campaign slogan.

Limbaugh and Hannity made it a 10 times daily slogan, it was what defined them, and it became the most prominent repeated phrase, and even what we wrote on our signs at Freeps in front of the White House.

RULE OF LAW.

Yeah, until election time, then, lets ignore the rule of law and let the Clintons go.

I clearly remember one caller had to corner Limbaugh to get him to say, because he refused to say it until then, but he cornered Limbaugh to make him say that Bush would prosecute the Clintons for their crimes, and Limbaugh was so sarcastic when he said it...yet he and Hannity were the CHEERLEADERS of...THE RULE OF LAW.

And anyone who stated on their show after that, WHAT HAPPENED TO THE RULE OF LAW, were treated as if there was something wrong with them, Sean and Limbaugh talked down to them, almost outright insulted them.

It was absolutely hippocritical of Hannity and Limbaugh to SCREAM for years RULE OF LAW, RULE OF LAW...only to then ignore it for the last 5 years.

So, some criticism was well deserved.
