I might be wrong, but I think he might be gone because of the breathtaking comments about FR in general, and JR in particular, he used to post on other forums. Really ugly stuff. I'd have banned him a lot faster than Jim did. Jim has a lot more patience than I have.

I make no statement about his getting banned. Rules are rules and we all must follow them. I wish he would come back though. It's hard for me to imagine that he was saying rude things about Jim and FR on other forums. I only heard him say very positive things about both. He also seemed very even tempered to me. He was direct and never backed down from a debate, but I never saw him lose his cool or join in any of the ugly stuff.

Now I'm going to say something REALLY unpopular. I liked TLBSHOW too. He wasn't the intellect Sabertooth was, but he was a sweet guy. I felt sorry for him when the attacks got really personal against him. If I remember correctly he was banned for a violation of the rules and then came back briefly. He was ruthlessly targeted and chased out, imo. I never like to see someone ganged up on. Now I'm in BIG trouble for saying all of that.

I'll confess that I had to take a break from FR a while back. That was my issue though, and not the fault of anyone here. I just lurked for a while before returning. But I've always thought this was the best place on the web. It can be brutal sometimes, but I've learned to toughen up just like dirtboy was talking about. It's a good thing really.

I had a little dust up with him just before he left for good. He is a good word manipulator; he can say something that looks nice and fuzzy (kinda like a sabre-Tigger) but is a sneaky little dig.

Some one posted a link to one of his present Internet homes, and I see he still has the same indefensible defense. But many still fawn over him.
