Additionally, the girls paid the fine right after the verdict. So why didn't they pay up front, months before Mrs. Young had to take them to court to get it? You act like they are saints for paying AFTER the court made them have to pay.

Geez, man, I'm not sure how many times this has to be pointed out to you but I'll give it one last try.

The Youngs would not agree to never try to recoup additional monies in the future over this incident.

If I were the parents, I would want the same guarantee. In my opinion, the only reason someone would have for not agreeing to such a thing is if they had plans to file additional suits for things such as mental anguish and pain and suffering or some other innocuous crap.

And it would appear, from the information I have read, that the Youngs have indeed retained an attorney for just that purpose.
