The offer to pay by the parents was just an act of kindness and in no way appropriate but since Nutbag sensed weakness it was never forthcoming since she wouldn't forego other predatory attacks through the legal system, sometimes known as Shakedown Central. Any judge in his right mind would have thrown the case out and charged Nutbag for court costs.
