The carrot-chomping smart aleck is making a comeback - as a futuristic, slimmed-down superhero.
The extreme makeover also revamps Bugs' buddies Daffy Duck, Road Runner, Tasmanian Devil and Wile E. Coyote in an attempt to charm young audiences with old favorites. But the changes have Looney Tunes fans hopping mad.
...to thine own self be true!
bump
Bugs Bunny's new look
They gotta be kidding! American icons like Bugs and pals as Japanese animae super heroes?
Totally moronic idea..Can't they even leave cartoons alone.?.GEEEEZ Why is it that ANYTHING that's old is no good anymore..What the hell is that thing anyway ? Certainly not a rabbit and CERTAINLY not Buggs
Its called 'If you can't draw, fake it.".
Who says kids dont like the old buggs anyway ? I never met one yet .It's some assh*le marketing jerkoffs idea not what kids really want ..Sorry , I dont but it at all.
It's all sharp and angular and cutty.
No thanks.
Actually they didn't mess up Bugs...The "Buzz" Bunny is a descendent of bugs and the same goes for the rest of them...Even though it still looks like it sucks
I HATES that wabbit, who knows, might wove him now..-Fudd..
I wish WB would create an underground Bugs Bunny War on Islamic terror cartoon featuring the A-rabs.
Now that has a lot of comedic possibilities!
This is just as Un-PC too.
There already IS one where Yosemite Sam plays this Arab brigand. Bugs ends up in the Mideast when he makes one of his wrong turns at Albuquerque.
He lets Sam have it over and over, usually after calling "Yoo-hoo! Mr. Ay-rab......" It even will offend the PETA people 'cuz Sam beats his camel with a "Camels is SO stupid..."
Then there's the one where him and Daffy find the lamp with the genie....hilarious.
And un-PC as hell.
