The carrot-chomping smart aleck is making a comeback - as a futuristic, slimmed-down superhero.
The extreme makeover also revamps Bugs' buddies Daffy Duck, Road Runner, Tasmanian Devil and Wile E. Coyote in an attempt to charm young audiences with old favorites. But the changes have Looney Tunes fans hopping mad.
"EEEK! They've Poochie-fied Bugs!"
OK, now, we just need to Rasta-fy him by 25% and make him 10% edgier. There, all done!

Looks to be influenced by Japanese anime type art. Disney also seems to be leening that way in their animation when they released the cartoon movie Lilo and Stitch.
It's a sad trend.

I personally like the "Barber of Seville" sketch better, because it incorporates more slapstick.

That's how I learned classical music! My kid already loves Lord of the Valcuries(sp) because of "Kill da wabbit".

I've noticed that cultural wasteland you speak of. I think it has a lot to do with why I don't go to the movies. There just AREN'T any that are very interesting. Think it might have something to do with PC and the chilling of free speech and association? Hmmmm?
