"Seriously....you really believe that one can't critique a show or personality without exhibiting jealous behavior?"

I don't have any problems whatsoever with genuine honest critique, but many comments on FR about Hannity have gone beyond critique to personal attacks. He is one of us, as far as common goals are concerned in the world of conservatism and politics. His style may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I don't see that as any reason to make the unkind remarks many do about his intelligence and what evidently appears to many to be a too-good-to-be-true home life. It's sad that so many homes aren't like his and therefore his seems unreal to them. I'm THANKFUL there is an on-the-air personality that has a good home life, who isn't afraid to tell the world that he and his wife were virgins when they became legally married, and who doesn't use colorful language to make his points.

Some of the attacks on FR are about his book promotions and the ads he gives for Ruth's Steakhouse, which I completely don't understand. Both of those are part of business and paying the bills for the service he's providing for his listeners. I'm amazed that more people don't realize that.

He's #2 next to Rush, while none of the people who criticize his skills so harshly are even close to being that. How many even substitute for talk show hosts who have their own shows? Their criticisms would be amusing if it wouldn't be so sad -- sad because it hurts the whole cause for which FR exists when we make such petty criticisms of a well-known and successful conservative.

I fully believe in constructive criticism, but 95% of the criticism of Hannity on FR isn't constructive, it's just petty and therefore smacks of jealousy.

I don't know that it is jealousy. I think people are tired of the same old stuff.

He rarely lets a guest complete a sentence. He's always pushing a new book but then who isn't?

I think something happens to people when they start making millions of dollars and they cannot see reality. He lives in a glasshouse like the majority of them do.
