I started listening to Rush in '98/'99. I gave up listening to him on a daily basis years ago, because frankly,he was dreadful. Part of that change was due to his marrying Marta, part the drug problem, and part just because his ego took over;but, the biggest reason I no longer needed to listen to him was FR. If one reads FR,one is far ahead of ANY talk shows. They get to what I've already read and/or discussed the night or the week or the month before. It's already old news and I don't need nor want anyone to tell me what I should think about it.

It's already old news and I don't need nor want anyone to tell me what I should think about it.Totally correct! Although we don't agree on every issue, that's what I love about this place. All of the information is posted (ALL of it...good and bad); we get to read it, dissect it, and come to our own conclusion. We argue, debate, and agree to disagree....but we are without a doubt some of the most informed people on the planet. After all, we seem to have "expert" opinion residing here on nearly every subject.
I too, find talk shows to be "yesterday's news" for the most part; heck...I listen to local sports talk for the better part of the afternoon...knowing I'll get the political "dish" here.
