I don't know that it is jealousy. I think people are tired of the same old stuff.
He rarely lets a guest complete a sentence. He's always pushing a new book but then who isn't?
I think something happens to people when they start making millions of dollars and they cannot see reality. He lives in a glasshouse like the majority of them do.
Hannity is like O'Reilly and some of the other talking heads nowadays. They can't deal with people that are smarter than they are. O'Reilly doesn't ever have Bill Bennett on because Bennett made him look like a fool when he tried to "corner" him. Hannity can't tolerate anyone having a valid, logical criticism of positions that Hannity is cheerleading for even when they are wrong. He had Tom Woods on and I'm sure he didn't realize that Woods is far smarter and far more conservative than Hannity could hope to be.
Name one so called MAIN Stream Right Wing Media
personality that has asked,
in 2005,
these questions?
"Asked Kerry when he will sign Form 180.
Or why Kerry is still in the US Senate.
This is in violation of
U.S. Constitution Amendment 14 Sec 3
Or when Kerry will set the record straight
on his false testimony in April 71"
BUT he's still attacking President Bush in '05

What is Tonys name here?
How so Hildy? I am actually interested. I lurked for quite some time but not as long as you have been here and would really like to know. I like Sean and I am grabbing at straws.
The way I look at Hannity's comment is from a PR perspective, there is no such thing as bad publicity (unless it is about criminal activity), only publicity. How many new people will come and check out the Free Republic site because he mentioned it ? This site sells itself. Will anyone who is already here leave because of his comment ?
Let him make his comment, let him self-promote, let's NOT start getting divided, whether we like Hannity or not, he did help get Bush re-elected. And his anti-Hillary campaign will only help in 2008.
I've only been once as it is a bit over-priced, but it was very, very good...MUD
When you spend 5 days a week, for 5+ years, in the same studio with Alan Colmes, the occasional "brain fart" is to be expected..
I like Rush's format so I'll stick w/him but Hannity's turning into an O'Really Jr.
I was just born yesterday.
Fringe?
I don't think my rather middle views are fringe. They certainly haven't changed.
On the other hand, Sean, you seem to forget that those who were very active posting during the campaign do have other things to do at this juncture.
Your perception of FR is that of biting the hand, true?
I knew you'd be listening! Did you tape it as usual for re-listening later tonight?
That and others.. I reckon the average is around 1.6 a week. ;-)
As for flame wars and bickering.. he will get that there too....It is human nature for some types of people to act out on the internet. Find one blog or site that doesn't have flame wars and bickering.
How naive of him.
Since I am so "fringe" I gather that his shows and books will not offer me anything anymore...
He is 100% replaceable.
I have been gone for a couple of hours and came back to see this kerfuffle, which in case you didn't know has a separate link at the top of the "Latest Posts" page. It says "Sean Hannity listeners click here to discuss today's show." LOL!
You're exactly right! And Rush kept up the "FREEPERS ARE THE FRINGE AND IDIOTS",for quite some time.
That is soooooo funny, and we're the fringe!
I'm with you. I'm loyal to Rush, since he's the first famous conservative other than Ronald Reagan that I was familiar with (I first heard him on the radio at age 12 on Election Day 1992, so I've been listening to him practically for half of my life, though less often in high school and college because I had classes when he was on). I've been a member of FR since 1999, when I was a freshman in college. Hannity has gotten a bit old for me. I liked him when he subbed for Rush, but when he went national, he got mediocre.
