Quite a story. Thanks for putting me on the list.

I remember him in Patton... that's about it. Woody Strode was the 'brooding' black man in 'Pork Chop Hill' I believe... maybe not... been a long time since I've seen it.

He was the subservient 'Pompi' in 'Man/Valance'... also was in 'The Professionals'.

I'll have to see Liberty Valance. I saw Pork Chop Hill once when I was a kid, but remember virtually nothing from it. (I think, at the ned of ther battle, they find out that the war had ended, and their buddies had died in vain.) I've seen The Professionals many times, and love it.
