I knew one of the first AIDS fatalities in the US over 25 years ago. He was from Wichita, Kansas.

I took care of an AIDS patient in '80. We had no idea what he had. He was going nuts because no doctor could diagnose him. He was wasting away, in hindsite, it was a classic AIDS case.

Thank goodness he was in complete isolation.

Surprise, surprise, this was in North Hollywood.

would love to know more about the first "victim"...heard it was in the midewst somewhere but not sure where or when....
