You are correct.
Teenagers engage in experimental sex today - more experimental than ever before. They also use ecstasy and other assorted recreational drugs to lower inhibitions.
It won't be funny when someone's kid comes down with it any more than it is funny when a homosexual contracted it. If people think it won't happen, think again.
***My Godson died of AIDS in 1984 from a bad blood transfusion he had in 1982. ***
This wasn't by an chance blood from the Arkansas prison systems that the Clintonistas were selling at the time was it?
Sorry M.
"Love the sinner, hate the sin"
Yet the truth is the truth. And it's not PC to tell the truth. You can't smoke cause it might kill you, have to wear a seat belt cause you might die, get pregnant and have an abortion. There is nothing good about premartial sex and homosexuals are the ones getting and giving HIV. Who says I have to love the people who are endorsing or involved in bad behavior.
Sorry M.
Ping
How horrible; I am so very sorry. We worked at a blood lab in those years and it was quite scary when the AIDS tubes came into our department.
That blood was sold in Canada. If I remember correctly, the lawsuits from that are not settled yet.
We need someone to post a "blood money" link, here...
Suit yourself.
All I'm saying is that back in teh 80s, more folks were strictly homosexual or straight.
With active participation by suspect groups, that line is more blurred among the young in our society.
It can, and it will, get into the heterosexual community, and I hope it isn't someone you love.
ahhh...let the self righteousness of the freepers run wild. I love this forum, but hate the homophobic rants. I am opposed 100% to the homosexual agenda, but you have no idea who this guy is and what his story involves. The NY guy, yeah, he pretty much brought it on himself. And btw, being a gluttonous lardass is as much of a sin as being a homosexual. Donut anyone?
You tell us to "love the sinner".
You also say to "have compassion".
MY Lord didn't waste a lot of "compassion" on folks who harmed others..
Such as the moneychangers, the Pharisees, etc.
When HE was swinging that whip and kickin' things over in the temple, I doubt if that would pass your "compassionate" test.
Also, HE used some rather politically incorrect words to describe the leaders of THE TOP church of HIS day, who were into self-worship.
He also told HIS disciples to not cast their "pearls" before swine. Seems to me that we are to practice discernment.
Pray for W and Our Awesome Troops
I agree. While I condemn all promiscuity, either gay or straight, I have nothing against gay couples together in their own bedroom, and what if one of them has strayed and brought this disease to his innocent partner? That is to me the same as if a cheating husband brings AIDS to his loyal wife.
I'll let someone else do the loving at least until the homo-perverts abandon their behavior.
Just out of curiosity, would you "love" someone who raped your child and gave them HIV?
Exactly. But the FR tent doesn't include even conservative gays, it would seem. I get ripped on these threads for simply being from CA and having gay friends. I am a very proud breeder and despise the gay "agenda" as much as anyone here, but I really was brought up to care for all kinds of people. And there are great conservative gays who ALSO hate the gay agenda. Al Rantel on KABC radio is against gay marriage!
I live such a sheltered life. I've got to get out more, and live a little.
And he healed lepers, and saved the prostitute Mary Magdalene from being stoned to death.
Worship how you see fit, but be warned what happens to those who deliberately mislead by adding/subtracting from the Book.
Funny how you refer to yourself using the same term that the homofascists use to disparage heterosexuals.
Not funny -- I did it deliberately. I am PROUD to be raising kids. The homosexual agenda disparages us for the most blessed thing there is in life. I was only trying to say that I am NOT part of the gay problem/agenda but here in Freeperland I get kicked around every time I say something not 100% anti-gay.
