He wasn't asked about his daughter. He had already said that ALL practicing homosexuals are selfish-hedonists.
... he had the opportunity to do the right thing -- the honorable, courteous, kind hearted thing -- and say something like "I'm not going to get into other family's personal heartbreaks," since he knew full well he had the same problem under his very own roof.
That is a load of garbage. He was asked what his opinion of homosexuality was and he answered according to his beliefs. He was then pressed for a yes or no as to whether that included Lynn Cheney, an admitted lesbian. Saying no would be an obvious hypocrisy. Saying nothing or refusing to answer would have also been an hypocrisy. The interviewer deliberately drew that corner to force a political controversy. He stood on principle and refused to bend to that political blackmail and has been vilified for it. And here you are, right on cue, to dish out more.
But instead he snatched the opportunity to grab face time by discussing the family of a sitting vice president, a man in his own party.
A politician, running for office, invited to an interview, on radio, is "grabbing face-time?" Oh, my, the shock and horror of it!
It's bad enough trying to keep up with the two-faced deceit of sinkspur but I'm not going to spend time responding to FR's biggest Bushbot joke. Have a nice afternoon.
When did Lynne Cheney admit to being a lesbian? I'm sure Dick would want to know.
WEASEL WORDS.
He had already said that ALL practicing homosexuals are selfish-hedonists.
Yeah, but the audience didn't have the "benefit" of knowing he had one in HIS family, too.
Hypocrite.

Do you think that is a smear against me? I'm proud to be a supporter of President George W. Bush and the things he has done for this country and the world. If you think that's a joke, perhaps that's your problem.
