You know, when you turn your back on your children because they are doing something you disagree with, you must accept the consequences bestowed on you. 30 years ago my beloved brother decided to marry out of the religion. My parents had always told us that if we did such a thing, that would be it for the family. My Brother made his decision, and my parents made theirs. They didn't go to the wedding, nor speak to him for about five years. Of course, they loved him so much and he was such a good guy eventually, the rift did heal and they accepted his wife and life went on. My Brother died at the age of 43. What my parents would give to have those lost 5 years back.
Think about that.
