I just don't get it. Artists can make great music, fun music, entertaining music (what it's SUPPOSED to do: entertain), but if it has ANY politics in it (specifically liberal leanings), it's suddenly not "good music" anymore.

"Green Day SUCKS!" -- I don't know how many times I've heard this on FR, but I bet a good number of the people who say that haven't even heard them, or of them.

Green Day's music gets my head bobbing, gets my toes tapping, and makes me sing along. THAT is good music. If you don't like them, fine, don't like them. Hey, it's your opinion, and sometimes people have good reasons for not liking them, i.e. I don't like the sound of it. If you do like them, fine, you do. But make sure you have a good reason to back up whatever you say.

No ..it's NOT good music PERIOD..No one in that band is particularly good on their instruments at all . Songs are inane and not very well written .

I don't know why you responded to me. I never said their music was bad, just their leftist politicking.
