No indeed. Newburgh is one of those beautiful old towns on the Hudson that has seen their downtown areas go down the welfare spiral: Catskill, Poughkeepsie, Troy, Hudson... but there are still wonderful areas for sure.

You are correct Aprege, all of Newburgh IS NOT ghetto and thankfully there are people involved everyday working hard to try to clean up the CITY OF NEWBURGH.
