Perp taken down by mall employees! Oo0oo-raaahhhhh! You can't f*ck with Americans any more. I hope they kicked the sh!t out of him.

My son and I were in a Best Buy around Christmas and a punk was trying to shoplift.

The security guys caught him and he decided he'd fight back.

4 BIG guys had him on the floor in a matter of minutes, and then they took him to a security room until the police arrived.

Glad to hear the store employees took the gunman down.

I am sorry I ever started this thread

I am glad you said this. But don't feel bad. I got on this thread when it was still sunlight. I gave up my walk which a will do now in the dark.

As I said, Don't feel bad, I guess it is a real lesson that when FNC says gunmen are using machine guns to shoot up a mall in Kingston, well, we had better wait for the adult reporters. I like FNC, but this was piss-poor. Apparently, it is true they dont check anything.

LOL! again.....More seriously, many lives could have been lost, so I say,"Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition..." (just not to disgruntled Best Buy customers/employees/whatever, or guys dressed all in black.)

You are I started the daily threads on this matter so if anyone remembers "official profiling", it's us. Although there are a lot of freepers who want to pretend it doesn't happen in reverse.

What short memories people have. It's just been the last month that the media has admitted what they knew all along. Matthew Shepherd wasn't killed because he was gay. It was a simple robbery as they have now admitted.

That may be, but I much prefer everyone be looking for gunmen who aren't there, than NOT be looking for gunmen who are!

It's the Hudson Valley Mall. I was there yesterday; big sale at Filene's. In Kingston NY, 90 miles from NYC. Nothing definitive yet, some people injured, haven't heard of any deaths. This is a quiet nice little area in the Catskills--but downtown Kingston is where they ship the lowlifes from the NYC because it's too crowded. Going down to my local watering hole to get the latest....

Not kids. Random shootings--I suspectd ROP, or gang related from the inner urban Kingston, we'll see.

Normal blacks don't usually do random acts of violence like white guys might.

Who said racism is dead? Not even on FR!

Yep, Newegg is outstanding. The only times I've ever had a problem with an order has been due to a manufacturing defect, which was replaced right away by NE. I just wish they sold everything else I need. I'd never have to leave home.

Lets face it, this was one of those "darned if you do, darned if you don't" situations for fox and all the other news outlets.

Lots of us would be grumbling if they weren't saying anything until absolutely confirmed.

Just a good lesoon for some and a good refresher course for others that already know better: The media is going to hype whatever they cover, especially breaking news of violence, and that none of the news writers, the "talking heads" and 99% of your average "witnesses" know anywhere near as much about esoteric things like weapons, explosives, or military type matters as many of us here do.

Not your fault. The Fox coverage was extraordinarily shameful.
