Yes, I always love that "greedy corporation" statement I hear so much about.
Greedy Corporations cannot exist very long unless they are government protected or regulated. Free market pushes them out.
It is only through manipulating patent and trademark laws (ala Disney and drug companies) do "greedy companies" exist.
The laws are in place to end these monopolies, but they are overlooked and not enforced.
The lefts idea to end "greedy companies" is always more regulations, what we need are less regulations and an adherence to the trademark / patent laws that are currently in place.

It is my understanding that US patent law recently changed from a 17 year term to 20 years. I don't have any knowledge of 50 year patents. Where did you get that information from?
