Must be a new strain... meth shouldn't severely (to my knowledge) compromise the immune system (if so, the MHC would not have processed the antigens & the individual would not have tested + for the virus).

Evidentally same enough that the diagnostics pick it up, yet different enough that theraputics don't work.

It's all a matter of time anyway... HIV is notorious for "developing" drug-resistance.

Moral of the story: best not get caught with one's pants down (yech!!!)

The meth is getting more toxic as they find faster ways to make it.(basically cutting more corners off the process) Here in Vegas it is causing very nasty sores (much worse then usual). They are being caused because the body cannot assimilate or process the stuff and it is leaching out through the skin. Many users have some horrible sores and they wont quit snorting,smoking, and shooting the poisen.
