Hear hear. School is not the place to teach gun safety. School is a place to learn academia. Parents are responsible for the rest.
Boy Scouts have gun safety merit badge youth can earn. Girl Scouts don't offer anything like that cause their leadership is very liberal.
Well, it would seem to me, judging by the way children are behaving, that a lot of their parents haven't taught them a thing about gun safety. On the other hand, Hollywood has done a fine job of glorifying the benefits of using a firearm.

If these same children can learn how to cuss, fight, show disrespect towards their teachers, and are misinformed about sex, which, BTW, their parents have also taught them directly or indirectly, I don't see the harm in promoting a gun safety program.
