Don’t doubt for a minute that war with Iran would be hell short of nuking them. But there are many better ways to skin a mullah by reminding every Iranian family of their loved ones killed by the regime. We got to get Iranian people angry, do what we did via CIA in 53 and 79, and hopefully for the last time.
War IS hell. Always was, always will be.
That really was out of their hands. What we should have done is support the Shah and not cut off support.
