Geddy Lee the frontman bassist, vocalist, keyboardist of the Canadian Power Rock Trio Rush was on for 90 minutes tonight discussing his new solo album entitled...you guessed it "My Favorite Headache" (buy it), anyway towards the end of the 90 minute show Lee was asked about the election situation in the USA since he is a Canadian and was doing the interview in L.A. . Geddy went on to say that he feels since there is already an election decided country wide in Canada and in Mexico and a President is picked and a government in 30 days that the USA spends way too much time on their elections and that Gore is now spending more of the USA's money dragging it on.
He said it was democracy in action that is for sure but there is a time when one has to realize that it is over no matter what it is for the best of the people and the country. Judging voter intent is bordering ludicrious and hoped for our sakes that it will end the way the laws intended it to be.
