It is not that God is not willing to answer our prayers, it is that God is trying to find out how important this request is to us. We try so hard to make God answer our prayers on the McDonald's timetable, like the Isrealites that grew impatient for Moses' return from Sinai, we grow impatient if the answer doesn't come in a week or two. We give up Faith to easily and do not run the race as God intended. If you have anything that you are praying for please do not give up. God answers all prayers just not with our timing.

Sorry for the diatribe, your post just brought this to my my heart, I have been having Faith issues over the last 8 months and your post hit me where it counted.
