You see, the problem with irreducible complexity is that Behe and the others who think it has merit compare a natural system to a known designed system. By pointing out that mousetraps can be naturally occurring, I have falsified IC. This is how science works.

No shubi you are missing the point. It is not about killing mice. It is about a particular common device of known design that Behe used as an analogy to help explain his theory which his opponents then claim could have been evolved DESPITE ITS KNOWN DESIGN. Perhaps he should call his example an "evo trap" because you fell into it also.

I mean concerning your "falsification" why not just cite a cat?

IC does not "postulate a known design." It observes a known organism and claims it can't be reduced.

I guess I failed. I fell into no trap. You have.

You can't compare a known designed system to one that the "designer" is not known.

However, in biology, we know that the designer is evolution.
