I have been guilty in this thread of being sarcastic and antagonistic; mostly to try to make the point that none of us knows it all, and that ridicule rarely, if ever, cures ignorance. I'm really kind of glad you posted that dialectic because it gives me kind of a segue into the opportunity to explain my position on the matter of evolution/creation and numerous other subjects that I am not well-versed in. That is, I don't think that it is so important that we get all worked up about it, calling each other evil and stupid. Personally, I don't think it is that important
how God created, but rather
that He created. Arguing that matter is fruitless because it is a matter of belief. Kind of like arguing about what your favorite colors are and trying to convince each other to switch.
What is stupid is to summarily dismiss that which we don't fully understand, be it scientific or spiritual.
