"ID" is a movement designed to destroy the credibility of evolutionary theory. No, it's a grouping of mathematical and biological views that describe apparantly fatal flaws in the construct that everything can be explained via random mutation and natural selection then posits that life designed by intelligence -- regardless as to how it was done -- is a more rational way of looking at reality.

Tell me one apparently fatal flaw.

Nice hypothesis. Why is water flowing down the hill? Because it is ID? With that answer you can illustrate everything but explain nothing!
-- regardless as to how it was done -- is a more rational way of looking at reality.
Rational - Ratio - Latin for explanation.

What biology does ID have going for it?
I assume by math you mean the argument from personal incredulity and the debunked irreducible complexity. Neiter of those are science, either.
