Chicken-like creatures. VERY territorial! They KNOW what belongs in their area, and what SHOULDN'T be there. And they will LITERALLY cause your ears to hurt, LOL, when they raise an alarm!!!
Our dogs run away when they go to 'screaming'.

My horse (geen broke) ran like the wind, minus her rider, the first time we encountered the screaming hens. I caught up with her about 30 minutes later!
