I LOVED that post!
Spoken like a true Texan!

You're the kind of people the muzzie slime do not understand! You're not shaking in your boots!

Thanks Tex!

That is high enough compliment in my book. Fact is I am a native born Oregon boy, but with all those Texas roots...what else could one expect. My favorite football team has always been the 'Boys - ever since the days of Roger "the dodger" Staubach (a commissioned Naval officer.)

They don't often make men like that anymore, but when they do, they usually have some connection to Texas!

Anybody on FR remember Audie Murphy? Here is a courtesy refresher course on the little "horse opera" movie star with the big heart:

During WWII, Murphy earned: Medal of Honor, Distinguished Service Cross, 2 Silver Star Medals, Legion of Merit, 2 Bronze Star Medals with "V", 2 Purple Hearts, U.S. Army Outstanding Civilian Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, 2 Distinguished Unit Emblems, American Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with One Silver Star, Four Bronze Service Stars (representing nine campaigns) and one Bronze Arrowhead (representing assault landing at Sicily and Southern France).

World War II Victory Medal, Army of Occupation Medal with Germany Clasp, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Marksman Badge with Rifle Bar, Expert Badge with Bayonet Bar, French Fourragere in Colors of the Croix de Guerre, French Legion of Honor, Grade of Chevalier, French Croix de Guerre With Silver Star, French Croix de Guerre with Palm, Medal of Liberated France, Belgian Croix de Guerre 1940 Palm.

Folks, unless I miscount, that's at least 32 medals and citations!! 32...Holy Cow!

He is on record as the MOST DECORATED SERVICEMAN of WWII, and is considered probably the most decorated servicemen EVER in modern times.

Oh and BTW - Audie Murphy stood 5'5" and weighed 110 lbs.

It ain't the size of the dog in the fight - it's the size of the fight in the dog. And it is in the spirit of Audie Murphy that I issue this cordial invitation to the "R.O.P.": Bring it on, suckers! Me and my G_d against you and allah (may his testes ever shrivel)! You fanatic, throat-slicin' freaks of nature may "wool" some folk, but I didn't just fall off the watermelon wagon. What did you think I was, an "Aggie"? Y'all don't fool me one damn bit.

Come on over here, boy - I got somethin' for yuh - an' it ain't iced tea!

Personally, I think it was awfully nice of George W. to blatantly NOT pressure the House and Senate to renew the ban on assault rifles. I have long been thinking he may have been looking ahead when he let that one go quietly into the sunset - just chew on that for a few minutes, would you folks? So let's all oblige him now, and do our patriotic duty, shall we?!

Tec-IX's, AR-15s, Uzis, and H-bars for everyone. Norinco's for the (non-muslim) masses..30-.06's, .30-.30's, .243's, .270's .300 Weatherby mags and .380 mags - get yours now! We have limited "rations" of ammo, folks - only 20,000 rounds per Conservative/
Libertarian...step right up, now!

My tagline says it all...
