Islamists target Christian journalist on website
Christian journalist and long-time friend of Internet Haganah, Jeremy Reynalds has been targeted for killing by Islamists on the Al Ansar forum (ansarnet.ws).
The thread:
www.ansarnet.ws/vb/showthread.php?t=27276
In a thread on the Houston-based site, the person who ran the now-defunct mawsuat.com site starts by blaming Reynalds for the site's demise, posts a POBox address for Reynalds, and asks if anyone else has more information about him.
In the discussion that follows, the Islamists first post Reynald's home address so that he might be "visited", then a picture of him and a wish that his ribs should be broken, and finally they offer their prayers to Allah that He should deliver to them Reynald's "fatty neck" - a clear reference to the current fad of decapitating anyone deemed to be a critic of the more lethal forms of Islam.
The thread closes with a heartfelt "amen".
When informed by the Haganah of the threat against him, Reynalds said that threats like this do not intimidate him and he has no intention of backing down. He is more determined than ever to help drive Internet terrorism right where it belongs - into the pit of hell!
And on that note:

RADICAL ISLAMICS TARGET JOY JUNCTION DIRECTOR AND CHRISTIAN WRITER JEREMY REYNALDS FOR KILLING
For a few weeks, one of the hottest jihadi terror sites appeared to have been www.mawsuat.com
Fortunately, a few hours before the recent very successful Iraqi elections this site was taken down by its American Internet service provider (ISP) after I alerted the company to the contents of the site.
Now thanks to my friends at Internet Haganah (
http://haganah.org.il/harchives/003608.html), I have learned that the site's demise has made some jihadis very upset and they would like nothing better than to have my head on a platter.
Weisburd wrote (
http://haganah.org.il/harchives/003608.html) "The person who ran the now-defunct mawsuat.com site starts by blaming Reynalds for the site's demise, posts a P. O. Box address for Reynalds, and asks if anyone else has more information about him.

The thread closes with a heartfelt âamen.'
"When informed by the Haganah of the threat against him, Reynalds said that threats like this do not intimidate him and he has no intention of backing down. He is more determined than ever to help drive Internet terrorism right where it belongs - into the pit of hell!"
AMERICAN ISP HOSTS TERROR SITE WITH BULLETIN BOARD THREATS AGAINST REYNALDS
I was fascinated to see that Ansarnet basically disclaims responsibility for what appears on its site.
A disclaimer reads (
www.ansarnet.ws) in part (sic), "Bulletin boards are public access plat forms on which any member of the public can post comments, news or links to other sites. This member of the public could well be a Dictatorial governments agent trying to cause discord. It is ANSARNET.WS's policy, not to allow any posting which contains incitement to violence or could be interpreted as an original statement or publication of terrorist groups. These postings could stay for while before being noticed and removed by the web-master."
Ansarnet.ws is hosted by the Houston based Everyone's Internet (
www.ev1.net/english/contact/index.asp). Ev1.net attracted more than a little attention last year by its relationship with
www.hostinganime.com, a small and free Internet service provider which used computer space owned by ev1.net and hosted as many as 20 terror sites.
EV1 repeatedly refused to respond to inquiries from me and others about why it continued to allow Hosting Anime the use of its computer space. Fortunately Hosting Anime was sold a few months ago and the new owners appear to be much more discriminating in their policies.
But maybe you're wondering what made me so upset that I wanted to see Mawsuat go off line?
MAWSUAT --- A JIHADI "SNUFF" STORE
Here's what I found after going through only a portion of the site. In addition to providing links to files of al Qaida publications,
www.mawsuat.com also had about 40 Jihadi "snuff" videos (of killings reportedly committed by supporters of Iraq's most wanted man, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi) available for download.
These were mostly short three to five minute videos of masked insurgents reading some sort of proclamation to a prisoner; followed either by the individual's head being cut off or shot in the head execution style.
Despite the al-Zarqawi and al Qaida materials available on the site, a disclaimer read "We would like to inform all the media outlets, all the governments and agencies that Mawsuat.com is not affiliated with any group or organization. The sole purpose of this project is to inform."
The address provided for contact on the site was
mawsuat@hotmail.com. I sent an e-mail to that address asking what the individual hoped to achieve by his site. It was answered like this.
"To tell the other side's story without bias at the contrary of the most major networks in your land," the individual wrote. " (For) example, if you check some of the videos of some operations in Iraq, you'll find that the number of casualties of the American forces is far greater than what your Pentagon and your Fox News report."
The individual continued, "First of all, the cyber space doesn't belong to anybody the last time I checked. What I put in my website is my business. To be honest with you, I find it kinda amazing that you will be offended by my website and its content, yet the thousands of porn sites that show women of all ages displaying themselves all over the internet seem to be fine by you "people" -- assuming you are an American".
He added, "Now here's my question to you, if you are so sensitive and have a lot of 'moral values.' Why don't you condemn this war and ask your government to stop it -- especially that over 100, 000 Iraqi civilians were slaughtered so far by your war machine, or maybe you can't -- so you pick on the underdog."
The writer closed by saying, "If you find my English to be pretty good maybe you should assume I'm educated."
The site was registered to Karim Berrada. The tracking information for his e-mail also gave the same name. The address provided for site registration was "28, sidiberezzouk st, rabat 10000 United States."
Mawsuat.com was hosted by an American Internet service provider "Go Daddy (
www.godaddy.com). When alerted of the site's content, the company initially removed it for a short time. However, it was back on line by the next morning -- pending, company officials said, a more thorough investigation.
A couple of days later the site was again down. Thankfully, visitors are now greeted with the words, "This site is currently unavailable. If you are the owner of this site, please contact us at 1-480-505-8855 at your earliest convenience."
A Go Daddy representative said after the company finished an internal investigation of the site contents, it appeared that the site was violating the terms of service and so it was taken down.
AND NOW?
While I take any threat seriously, I refuse to be intimidated by terrorist thugs using the Internet as a platform to broadcast their message of death and destruction. Working in conjunction with fine groups like Internet Haganah I intend to continue shining a light into the darkness of cyber terrorism and covet your prayers as I do so.
To further draw public attention to this abuse of the Internet, I have had a book proposal in the works for some time. I would ask that everyone who reads this in addition to praying for my continued safety also prays that the Lord would touch the heart of a major American publisher so I could provide a quality resource for those wanting to help join the battle.

No disrespect, martial skill is smth to be admired and kept up (broadsword here), but anyone with a rifle is going to kill you. Any decent shot with a pistol is going to stand back and kill you.

Did the killing of the New Jersey family bring them out of the closet?
Will they now go after others who value Jesus?
Or is it more DU idiots that escaped their keepers?
As usual, I can think of questions, but miss all the answers.
Things like Ward Churchill brainwash the young, and prime
them like a well, so that they are ready to pump out the hate.

"Did the killing of the New Jersey family bring them out of the closet?" I think that slaughter was just evidence of them coming out of the closet, rather than the cause.
I think they were coming anyway, and there's nothing we can do to stop it.
The jihad is spreading.

Outside of my house they will have an advantage. Inside my house it is a difference story. In any average house it takes less than a second to cross a room from one end to another.
Unless he is a battle hardened and accomplished gunman, it is very unlikely that if he gets a shot off at someone charging him with a katana he will score a hit.
I was involved in a shoot-out in a house in Mexcico with some Mexican Federales. There were at the very least 45 shots fired inside that room. Four people were shot. The two Federales, their "Madrina" (which is like an armed informant) and me. I shot all four people who got hit in that room including myself. My brother in law fired every round in his 9mm Glock and did not hit anything. Neither did anyone else.
I shot myself in the ankle (it came out the bottom of my foot) disarming the first Federale when he pointed his gun in my face (I promptly shot him with it). I was also the only one in the room with any combat experience.

Have you thought about the 1968 GCA regs?
various firearms that don't qualify as firearms per that law for Feds:
blackpowder.
antiques from 1898 or earlier that shoot blackpowder shells made precisely for that caliber.
the ATF...being the turds they are...have tried to bust folks who have done their time for using universal smokeless in antique firearms.
there is an outfit called Obsolete Ammo that can make any black powder antique cartridge one can think of...just about.
But....local laws will apply to a fed felon....so I would check those too. Most states except the hardcore blue ones mimic the Fed statutes on blackpowder and felons and a number of southern states grant firearms rights back to felons after satisfactory parole.
the 1968 GCA was instituted to provide review and relief for felons to get their gun rights back upon completion of sentence and/or paper and applying to the ATF....that was nice of them since that is when we first started yanking gun rights pell mell (except Reconstruction)...somehow we survived 200 years with ex-felons with guns...the horror..lol
A Republican Congress yanked funding over 10 years ago so it's a catch 22....the ATF cannot do the job it was legislated to do. Two years ago, SCOTUS ruled that local Fed judges could not grant waivers as they once could.
As you know....the min-man is a 5 spot unless you get really really lucky so it's a minefield and some AUSA chingao will love to climb his career over some shmucks back.
Regards
PS....about one in seven adult males has now lost gun rights for some infraction...all of which are not felonies anymore. I doubt any pol will pick up this sword do you? Why outlaw guns....it's easier to outlaw gun owners.
