The flip remarks on this thread disgust me, and make it abundantly clear that these people know nothing about parrots.

I agree. Incidents such as these shouldn't be taken so lightly, in my opinion. What kind of a freak would do something like this anyways? The felony charge is appropriate in this case, although it will likely be scaled down.

Some of us are aware that birds, kept in homes, will lessen the life expectancy of that person, or persons by about five years. And no I won't give you a source.

Why should one be allowed to pollute anothers lungs with second hand bird dander? Second hand bird dander kills.
