Deep Throat Close to Death It appears the Watergate source known as "Deep Throat" may be close to death, and that means that individuals name may be made public for the first time.
Reporter Bob Woodward has said in the past that he would disclose the identity of the course when that person died. Deep Throat helped Woodward and the Washington POst expose the Nixon Water gate scandal.
The Washington Post has already prepared an obituary, which means the world may soon know the secret Woodward has managed to keep for 30-years.

A little Diane Sawyer bio:
http://www.who2.com/dianesawyer.html
Diane Sawyer started in TV in Louisville, Kentucky, then became a press aide for the White House during the Nixon administration (she also assisted Nixon with his memoirs). She ended up at CBS in the late 1970s, eventually getting a co-anchor spot on 60 Minutes in 1984. In the 1990s she worked for ABC, co-hosting PrimeTime Live and 20/20, earning a reputation for tough investigative reports and interviews with world leaders. In 1999 she was named anchor for Good Morning America.
Extra credit: Sawyer is married to film and theatrical director Mike Nichols.

Diane Sawyer worked in the Nixon administration, not sure what her job was. Probably communications but I doubt she's deep throat.

Could be Gerald Ford.
I may look around on the web for the state of his health.

He better have some proof of his accusation.Don't worry, he'll have at least two 'confidential sources' that he can't name but they confirm anything he says.
That's been his MO for 30 years - along with mind-reading, as in "David Eisenhower thought"...."Barry Goldwater thought" even though those he's mind-reading have protested to the max in the past that he's makes it all up.
He always has those two or more 'confidential sources' to back him up. This is why we need the internet, to stop this obvious BS.

You know it could also be his wife. She drank and had a loose tongue, so they say. They kept her in the background because of it. Could it be her? Cirrhosis of the liver?

A great president was brought down and the country was thrown into a tail spin (remember the Ford and Carter years ?) for a decade. We will have to go back and rewrite the history books based on who deep throat was.

Think folks, who is sick?
How is Kissinger's health? Louis Rukeyser, isn't he very sick? Maybe a secret service guy? Or a valet or personal aide?

"Think folks, who is sick?"
One has to believe we are being told the truth about the deep throat being ill, doesn't he?
I don't trust these liberals one bit.

How could Gerald Ford be deep throat, given that he didn't join the Nixon administration until well after the Watergate story broke?
