Yup. As memory serves, the testimony comes from one of the "British citizens" who was interned at Gitmo and was subsequently returned to the UK. The interview was published in either The Independent or The Guardian -- either of whom would be expected to swallow it whole.

As did Mo Dowd. Who probably knew better, but since it served her purposes...
