Theologians have their minds made up and don't want to confused (sic) by the facts.

That accusation seems far more appropriate for evolutionists who--by their own admission--need gap species that aren't there. You won't find theologians attaching a human skull to the jaw of a baboon, (or was it the other way around?)

I too have noticed that understanding the history of fraud in science is a topic most evolutionists find .... boring. I don't think its an accident.
