Don't sell your vacant properties to large scale developers. Develop them yourself, sell them to very small business builders, or hold them for your children.

The large developers are well funded. They tend the local councils and they in turn are grateful. The local councils are usually composed of folks that love these ideas. That's why they're there in the first place.

Haven't you been reading lately where private homes and property have been seized without the owners oking it?
Almost daily there are people who are upset at the Imminent domain policy being used by cooperations to steal property.
